Fiesta R2 crew score five class podiums on way to title success

The Hills Ford name made a welcome return to national motorsport prominence in 2016, with William Hill & co-driver Richard Crozier claiming the AB Motorsport Front-Wheel-Drive, B10 1600cc & Prima Motorsport Junior Driver titles of the prestigious MSA Asphalt Rally Championship.

In 23-year-old Worcester native William’s first full season of rally driving, despite tackling many of the stages for the first time, the crew consistently turned heads in the UK’s premier sealed-surface rally championship. With their Ford Fiesta R2 scoring podiums in five out of six attempts, the pair succeeded in securing the hat-trick of titles with a round to spare.

The whole year has been a fantastic experience for myself and really increased my knowledge and confidence of Driving this Car. I owe a huge thank you to the Team for all their support and always giving me the best Car to go out and compete in. Let’s hope for more success in the near future!”

Tim Hill – Team Principal – Hills Ford Rally Team

“After some 20 years away from Motorsport, it’s great to be back and with a class winning car, and in our first full Season.”
